Korn Ferry is one of the nation’s largest executive staffing and placement firms. The company implements a collection of data analytics tools to support its process of applicant assessment and tracking. Softlab360 was engaged to 1) produce informative, effective visualizations of Korn Ferry’s applicant tracking data in order to complement and facilitate internal business intelligence and 2) integrate the visualization technology into the business dashboards of Korn Ferry’s flagship products.

Korn Ferry possesses very large amounts of data. Characterizing and categorizing the data, assigning to it numerous data attributes, and periodically restructuring data marts was particularly challenging to support generic and open nature of the projects - enabling business end-users to create their own visualization criteria dynamically, at will.

Softlab360 has completed a substantial number of projects involving construction of data management and modeling tools in the form of user interfaces, open data access API, data aggregation and filtering API. Softlab360 data engineering and data visualization team became an extension of Korn Ferry’s internal technology group, producing the tool. Our result, after 12 weeks, was a data management tool offering dynamic creation of data selection criteria, delivering data sets for visualization and producing visualization.
